With over 30 years of experience in Agribusiness, Food Industry and Consulting, Ernest has extensive knowledge in new business development, mergers and acquisitions, in highly complex and competitive scenarios, and has a successful track-record in selection, hiring and managing cross-functional teams, engaged in delivering superior results, optimizing resources and operations.
Brazilian and Italian, married, father of 3 children, Ernest Sícoli Petty is a Senior Partner and Executive Director of PRIMORIUM AGRONEGÓCIOS, responsible for the Agri, Food and Consumption Business Unit.
With deep knowledge in the various business areas: agricultural raw material origination, Procurement, supplies, partnerships, commercial, sales and sustainability (ESG-T-I), Ernest offers recognized experience in business management, restructuring and reorganization, leading operations teams with “spend” of over R$4.5 billion and “sales, partnerships and trade” of over R$300 million.
In addition to being the AGRIBUSINESS Director at PRIMORIUM Management Consultants, Ernest is a member of the Strategic Committee at MONTESA Agropecuária, Interim Manager at a Multinational Agribusiness Company and Professional Coach.
In recent years, he has been engaged in issues related to Strategy, Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Sales, Sustainability, Development and/or Business Restructuring, after having been Executive Director in Agribusiness and Food at DELOITTE, Managing Partner and Member of the Committee Strategic for the start-up ENERGIA da TERRA, Head Agro and Food Service at AGR Consultoria, in addition to having been Statutory Director at SADIA in the Procurement and Sustainability Areas.
He also had a very successful path as Executive Director at PEPSICO (Elma Chips, Toddy, Toddynho, Coqueiro), and was Manager of the CARGILL Agricultural Business Unit, in addition to being Project Leader at the JH Family Office for investments in Land and Operations in Agribusiness and having completed agronomic residency at SEARA Alimentos.
Ernest is an Agricultural Engineer (ESALQ-USP), with an Executive MBA (BSP- University of Toronto) and Specializations in Agribusiness (FEA-USP), Sustainability (ETHOS), Innovation & Marketing (EMI) and Professional Coach (ECO SOCIAL) and speaks fluently Portuguese, English and Spanish, and leads projects in Strategy, Governance, Succession and People.
He is a Board Member, Professional Coach, Mentor and has a direct role in Conflict Mediation, in addition to being an Interim Manager for Business Restructuring and Integration (Operations, OBZ, CSC, Total Supply-Chain Optimization & Cost Reduction), People in different Organizational Cultures.
