Before becoming a management and strategy consultant, Inserra dedicated more than a decade of his career to the automotive sector, successfully wearing different hats in Latin America, Europe, and South Africa, coordinating cost reduction programs as well as structuring and optimizing global supply-chain and procurement networks. In these roles Inserra managed cross-functional strategy and operational teams.
But it was his facts-based analysis capabilities — and the full commitment to achieving results—which shaped not only his professional profile, but mainly a delivery style that would exceed the highest expectations, incorporating German culture and philosophy into his business consulting style. Inserra worked in countless projects in management consultancy throughout the years, supporting Clients from different sectors in diverse Project Situations. Since 2007, Inserra is back in São Paulo after almost a decade in Germany, first working at the Volkswagen's headquarters in Wolfsburg, and later as a Senior Consultant at Management Engineers (ME) in Düsseldorf.
Inserra became ME's country manager of Brazil in 2009. With his experience he can cover a broad range of industry and service sectors, including aerospace & defense, automotive & industrial goods, chemicals, FMCG, heavy construction and ship building.
He holds a Mechanical Engineer degree from Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo (USP), and a Master degree in Business Administration from University of Purdue (USA). Inserra speaks English, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
Alexandre Inserra founded PRIMORIUM in 2016 and has been its Managing Partner ever since.
